The Iconic Green Ghostie
1984 was an amazing year, wasn't it? It introduced us to one of the greatest movies of all time… and it also introduced us to one the most iconic ghouls of all time! Slimer first started causing mayhem in the Sedgewick Hotel, but he quickly made a home in our hearts after he covered Venkman in a layer of green, ectoplasmic goo.
Our designers wanted to bring the classic character to life, so we crafted this Ghostbusters Animated Slimer Prop! The intensely realistic design means you get to bring a piece of the movie into your home, but don't be surprised if the neighbors end up calling Venkman and crew when they see something strange in your neighborhood!
Design & Details
The animated Ghostbusters décor captures the green ghost in all his glory! The prop is molded and shaped into Slimer's green gelatinous-looking body, complete with texturing to give him a genuinely life-like (or maybe UN-life-like) appearance. The prop also recreates his mischievous grin with realistic teeth. Slimer sits on a sturdy stand, making him easy to place anywhere. The stand keeps him perfectly situated a 60 inches in the air, so he's hard for any guest to miss!
We've saved the best feature for last! This Slimer animatronic moves. Watch as the ghoulish character moves his arms, looking for a new meal to snack on! Make sure to keep all your snacks well out of his reach. His face also has a pair of glowing LED eyes to give him an extra eerie presence in your home!

Love this Slimer. Great look and size. Others complain of gaps and minor stuff but I can overlook all that since it is animated and super light... Great for events with my Ecto....Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Looks and works exactly as shown. Unfortunately the sound bit is not from the movie. It does sound similar, but to be honest it's a huge let down. The plus is that the speaker is loud and adjustable. This is not meant for outdoor use, but its light enough to move around. You can easily move this in and out for a night or two for Halloween or trick r treat night. I personally am putting it at a picture window indoors, with a green light around it. This is my first purchase from this company, so I was a little worried. They came through though, and I am satisfied. If you want a Slimer, this is it!Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

Great prop/decoration! Life size, light weight, easy assemble, smooth movement, volume control/adjust to loud, hard plastic feels sturdy enough to take minor beatings. Fair price.
Negatives: Production and finishing flaws: right arm is not flush with body, mouth assembled with gaps, paint between teeth appears sloppy, left eye has paint or scratches.
Overall, I'm satisfied. This is a must have item for any Ghostbusters fan, even just to have standing in a corner as a decoration. Would be perfect for a home theater.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful to you?

There were some hiccups from factory, but I was able to apply some simple fixes. I am excited to have this spud in the shop and will be doing some work on him. He is a great base for someone who is looking to modify him. He is a blow mold so think 80s/90s Lawn Santa. He can have a low heat light inside of him to give him a ghastly glow.
